I have the honor of getting to minister to and share the Gospel with those whom society has all but forgotten. Many inmates actually view their being arrested as actually saving their lives! Getting arrested actually “rescued” them, by preventing them from doing greater harm to themselves, or to others that they care about. This personal perspective serves as an opening, providing an opportunity to teach about the grace of God! Although we cannot change our past (where we’ve been, or what we’ve done) we CAN change our future, by going a different direction and following God! We serve a God of 2nd chances!! This is the message of HOPE that I want to encourage.
